Is split it. really free?

Yes! split it. is 100% free with no premium tiers, no transaction limits, and no paywalls. We support the app through occasional, non-intrusive ads.

How do I add friends to a group?

Open your group and tap the share button. You can share a QR code or invite link via text, email, or any messaging app. Friends can join instantly by scanning or tapping the link.

How are balances calculated?

split it. tracks all expenses in your group and calculates who paid what versus who owes what. The app then simplifies debts to minimize the number of payments needed to settle up.

Can I use split it. offline?

Yes! You can add expenses and view your groups while offline. Changes will sync automatically when you're back online.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data. Note: This won't delete groups you've shared with others.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase) to protect your data. We never sell your personal information to third parties.

What currencies are supported?

split it. supports multiple currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, and more. Each group can have its own currency setting.
